The Fiber Distribution Box Makes The Connection Quicker

Now back to any of the four basic functional requirements of the fiber distribution box: Terminals for Termination, Splicing, Relaxation Storage and Passive Optical Components. In order to make the signal from one fiber to another fiber, the core of the two fibers need to be engaged and to be perfectly aligned. The connector termination in the fiber refers to the physical connection of the mechanical connectors using two independent fibers with a target of 100% signal transmission. The connector terminals for the connection means that it is easy to reconfigure to easily connect and reconnect the fiber. The fiber distribution box is a housing that provides a connection between the fiber optic cable and the passive optical splitter that provides the external plant part of the network. It makes service connections and reconfiguration quick and easy, and can be used as a test point in an external factory network. If the cabinet is equipped with a factory-pre-connected feeder and wiring cable outlet, it helps to ensure that the field is installed quickly, easily and reliably. Fiber distribution hubs vary in size and shape, depending on the location in the network and the number of customers who need to serve. The terminal panel of the fiber distribution box can be easily adapted to any standard type of connector / adapter. This makes it easy to achieve future growth and provides greater flexibility for the continued development of network design. The cable management in the end panel is critical. The cable management within the terminal panel must include appropriate bend radius protection and physical routing paths. The fiber should have a bend radius protection along the route from the adapter port to the panel exit position. These fibers are provided in the event that the technician interrupted the active fiber or damaged the connector during installation and maintenance. In the event of such a situation, the signal must be rerouted from the original active fiber to the spare fiber. Reliable optical networks require a clean fiber distribution box. At any time a connector is paired with another connector, both connectors should be properly cleaned and inspected. The dirty connector is the biggest reason for the increase in back reflection and insertion loss in the connector, including the angle polished connector.
